I went on a trip to India during the 2020 monsoon season. I visited various places, including Indore, Ujjain Mahakal, Khajrana Temple Indore, Devas temples, Bhoj Temple, Ganesh Temple at Sihore, and two of the most famous temples in Bhopal city, Karunadham and Birla Temples. My team also explored several other cities, including Jabalpur, Tendukheda, Sagar, Gadhakota, Rahatgarh, and more.

During our trip, we captured and interviewed every part of Bhopal, from mask sellers to pani puri walas. They even explored every Talab in Bhopal, including funny-sounding ones like Lendiya Talab. We spoke to locals and children to understand why it was named as such, and discovered that it might be due to its bad condition.

We stayed in Bhopal for a week and captured a lot of footage. We are now editing the videos into a news series called “TKN Originals,” which we will release on our YouTube channel. The difference between this channel and their existing channel, “The Khabardar News,” is that TKN Originals will only feature content shot and edited by us. We guarantee that the news is true to their core values, leaving out spam news and paid content.

I am sharing the first video of the series, which features our conversation with a young boy selling tea in Tendukheda’s Bhaudi village. The villagers surrounding Bhaudi are deprived of major government aid due to the unethical actions of their village head and Sachiv. The village has a lot of issues, including 90% of the population living in mud houses, no access to toilets, and a lack of proper waste management.

This is just the first episode of our journey. The upcoming episodes promise to be entertaining, eye-opening, and eye-catching. We plan to cover people, places, and things from a news channel’s perspective. Viewers will experience the beauty of Madhya Pradesh and understand the different aspects of human values, history, culture, happiness, and pain.

In addition to the insights on the village’s living conditions, The Khabardar News team also spoke with bidi makers in Bhaudi village and discovered the harsh reality of their daily wage. It was shocking to learn that the laborers earn only 150 rupees a day. Furthermore, they face challenges in picking Tendu Tree leaves and are often harassed by the jungle department. The team’s coverage sheds light on the struggles of these workers and brings attention to the need for better working conditions and fair wages.
